Carmine Picardo will join us at the start of the meeting to discuss the working relationship between officials and black coaches in our association. We have had several come forward wishing to address some specific issues. It is our obligation as an association to voice their concerns as we would with any sub-section that requests our support. Please see the email below which further elaborates this matter.

Week 0 has officially been omitted and Official start date as of now is August 10th
Any team by-passing Phase 1 MUST begin Phase 1 protocol whenever they decide as a school district to begin. We are aware that many teams have made their intentions clear that they would be pursuing this option. This can have a paramount effect on scheduling (preseason and regular season.
Coaches still having major issues regarding contracts. Some of the memos this week to coaches from superintendents have been very troubling
Superintendents Coalition will be meeting with the NJSIAA next week
As an EC we need to start thinking about potential schedule modifications that will be most palatable. When the time comes, we will have a seat at the table for sure.
