“The Bergen Shootout”

Dear Coach,
As we all prepare through the various phases of the off-season and conditioning workouts, I would like to take this opportunity to extend an invitation to you and your team to compete in “The Bergen Shootout” team passing competition, which will take place on Saturday July 11, 2020.
The shootout will take place at the turf complex located behind the Wyckoff YMCA, located at 691 Wyckoff Ave, Wyckoff, NJ 07481. However all players and spectators should enter the complex on Spring Meadow Drive. There is a huge parking lot adjacent to the fields when you enter through Spring Meadow Drive. Do not enter through the YMCA or park inside the YMCA facility. The turf field complex provides a central location that is conducive to all players, coaches, and spectators with plenty of room for parking directly adjacent to the fields.
The tournament will consist of 16 teams. We feel by keeping the tournament to 16 teams, we can offer an optimum day of competitive football in the most productive conducive environment in an efficiently managed time structure. All teams will qualify for the playoff round and be seeded accordingly after a divisional round has been completed. The shootout will begin at 9:00am following a brief Coaches meeting in which schedules and information will be distributed. The cost is $280 per team. Please reserve your spot in the tournament, as it will be open to the first 16 teams to register.
Each team participating in the tournament will be guaranteed a place in the playoff round.
We had an outstanding day of football last year as stated by many of the coaches from last year’s participating teams. I have received a lot of positive feedback and suggestions for improving the tournament. Your input has been graciously appreciated.
